Despite of all security arrangements at the MAHAKUMBH festival in Prayagraj, a saddening news of stampede comes as a shock for both Pilgrims and administration officials. According to officials , a sudden increased of pilgrims at the ghats in the early hours of wednesday for the holy bath on the occassion of MAUNI AMAWASYA in the short span is the reason which led to stampede and many pilgrims got injured.
Approx. 30 people got injured including men and women. Some deaths are also feared.
