
Popular Amusement Park Chain SIX FLAGS AMERICA and HURRICANE HARBOR in Bowie announces 2025 to be their Last Operating Season.
Amusement Park business is not currently fitting in company’s growth expectations, Six Flags said in a statement announcing the decision to close the parks.
Six Flags started their season on April 21 and will be closing their operations on November 2. They are operating with current staff of almost 70 full-time employees and severance and benefits will be provides to eligible workers, company said while addressing the Media.
“This was a difficult decision, and we recognize the impact it will have on our Six Flags America and Hurricane Harbor park associates and guests,” Six Flags Entertainment Corporation President and CEO Richard Zimmerman said in a statement
