New Zealand Cricketer Rachin Ravindra got ruled out off the tri-series being held in Pakistan after the serious head injury during the match, while Rachin was going for a catch attempt against Pakistan, while pace bowler Lockie Fergusson remains in doubt.
New Zealand’s coach Mr. Gary Stead said “Rachin told me, he’s having a headache from past few days”& then suddenly he got nasty blow to his forehead, which took away the Rachin’s chance to be with the Team after defeating Pakistan in the opening match.
Stead also said that he was surprised that Rachin got back in the nets on Thursday and he’s all ready to play but we still are keeping him under observation before the next match, if he’s fit to play or not.
“Good news is he’s progressing well & Rachin is going through every protocols to get green signal” Stead said.
Filling the empty spot in the team, Stead said “we are thinking about Lockie Fergusson to replace Rachin, as he recently recovered from his Hamstring injury sustained last week while bowling in a UAE T20 match.
This might be Fergusson’s Golden chance to have a comeback in the ODI’s after 15 months.
