After watching the movie Chhaava, which is purely based on life of Sambha Ji Maharaj, son of Shivaji Maharaj, few thoughts would definitely come to mind. How the audience will take it as a film, where directors are potraying a historical figure not known to the general public as much as they know about his parent Shivaji Maharaj.
Another reason is that the movie starts with ultra-loud violent scenes of the 17th century of Hindustan, which could likely be not liked by the current audience taste. In this film Vicky Kaushal is the lead actor, playing the role of Chhaava the son of Shivaji Maharaj also known as the son of a lion. The story of the film adapts from the novel written by Shivaji Sawant.
In the very starting scenes of the movie, we can see that A group of brave Maratha warriors led by Sambhaji attacked a Mughal post. The directors of the film were successful in attracting the eyeballs of the audience from the very starting of the film displaying the bloody fight between the Marathas and the Mughals , getting the limbs chopped by each others while defending their post.
In this historical film we can also see Akshay Khanna in the role of Aurangzeb.
