Removal of ITC Group of Hotels from 22 BSE Indices came as a shock on February 5, before trading started at 09:15 AM on Wednesday. A company which is not a part of ITC Group now has been temporarily given the permission of trade in BSE Indices as for now to facilitate and rebalancing of their passive funds.
On January 29’2025 everyone was surprised as ITC Hotels had began to trade separately.
Bombay Stock Exchange in a notice said ” In the meantime when ITC Hotels didn’t hit the rock bottom till the cut-off time, the company will be dropped from all BSE Indices w.e.f Wednsday,Feb5. “
