U.S.A recently established a 170mile long and 60feet wide Defense Zone on Federal Land parallel to the Border Wall of New Mexico and to avoid any misinterpretations among the local they even posted signs both in English and Spanish but still allegations are still getting put up against the U.S government.
Any Individual entering Military Property whether he/she is U.S Citizen or not could face Sanctions and from April 24 few migrants have been arrested in doing so which has caused uneasiness among leaders of civil rights organizations, who fear potential abuses.
The Buffer Zone is currently being Supervised by Joint Task Force-Southern Border based at Fort Huachuca, Arizona.
On Thursday U.S Attorney Ryan Ellison while addressing the media said ” The Department of Justice will work hand in glove with the Department of Defense and the U.S. Border Patrol to gain 100 percent operational control of New Mexico’s 170-mile border with Mexico. Trespassers into the National Defense Area will be Federally prosecuted – no exceptions.”
